We are three weeks old now! We went back to do a weight check yesterday and we have finally hit our birth weight! WooHoo!!! In one week she gained 14.5 ounces weighing in at 7 lbs 14.5 oz. We were able to achieve that by giving 2 oz of formula with every feeding. The only down fall is that sweet Harper discovered how much easier a bottle is to eat then the breast. So I was pumping and feeding to make sure she got enough at each feeding. But starting yesterday we are trying breastfeeding again. If it works awesome if not I am ok with that. I will pump until she is six weeks old and then go to formula. She is starting to stay awake just a little bit after her feedings. When she is awake she is looking trying to focus on faces, look at shadows and lights in the house and movements on the TV.
She is a good sleeper. Just swaddle, lay down and she falls asleep on her own. She is in a pack in play in my room at night. During the day she sleeps anywhere and noises of her two older sisters does not awake her.
