Special Fans at Soccer

The girls had special guest all the way from South Carolina. Aunt KK, Hudson and Tyler all came to watch the girls play a game. It warmed my heart to see my girls light up when they saw them. Such a fun surprise.

Black Eye

The Sunday of the morning we left for the beach we had been at church. Chad and I were working at the new sign in system when a volunteer came and told me that Grace had an accident. I looked down and their was already a big bump under her eye.
The story is she was about to pull the handle to come inside from the playground and a little boy was running to go outside. The door hit her in the eye and knocked her backwards. She was upset...from the pain and embarrassment. The little boy came and found her after the service and apologized.
The same week we had two different friends loss their children. A two year old to cancer and a seven year old to mito. A black eye is nothing compared to what those two families had to go through.
Right after it happened
Day Two
Day three
Day Four
I could of continued the pictures. It lasted for awhile.

Third tooth falls out

Gracie's third tooth fell out at soccer tonight. It was actually kind of funny. She fell over a ball and landed with her face against a soccer ball. She kind of held her mouth for a second but then continued to play. A few minutes later she ran over to my chair to get water and her tooth popped out while she was running.
And you can tell from the picture below that she has now lost three teeth but she only has space for two to come in. I see an orthodontis in our future.

Harper Day

The first day off for Spring Break was a Friday. Grace and Olivia got invited to a play date and that left just Harper and I for a few hours. After seeing Harper's love for animals I decided to take her to the Yellow River Game Ranch. I am so glad I did. She was so cute and so excited the whole time. Sweet moments just the two of us.
She wanted to feed everything...like before she had no fear. She even had squirrels eating out of her hands. Maybe she will be the animal whisper one day. ;-)

Disney on Ice

Grace and Olivia both received tickets for Disney on Ice for their birthdays. The girls were so excited to go but a little confused. One night (just a few days before the event) Grace got up after put to bed. When I asked her what was wrong she told me that she didn't know how to skate, she was afraid to go. HAHAHA, it makes you wonder what goes through their minds all the time.
Popcorn, Cotton Candy, lights, Mickey and Princesses...it was a magical night!

Olivia's Easter Party

Olivia's class had a fun and simple Easter Party. Parents all brought in food and the kids enjoyed lunch, games and then an egg hunt. Olivia is always so quite when I join her and her class. I even have a heard time getting her to speak to her teachers when I walk in her room. But she is all smiles!

Graystone Easter Egg Hunt

Our family had a blast at our church Easter Egg Hunt. I love that all three girls went with us two hours early and helped get everything ready. They help stuff eggs the week before and then help spread over 15000 eggs out. So neat for them to have the joy of serving this young of an age.
Harper had her first egg hunt and did very well. They all three came home with a huge bucket of candy filled eggs.
The biggest hit was the petting zoo. The girls would of stayed in there...and did stay in there almost the whole time. They all love animals but Harper has absolutely no fear of any of them. She picked up anything that she could get her hands on.

Grace really wanted to hold something but everytime we got close to her she would freak
Then we found the trick...her sitting down to hold a bunny.

Spring 2012 Soccer

Soccer season started with a bang. Grace was signed up for another season of U6 soccer with Chad as the coach. A little girl backed off the time at the last minute and they suggested Olivia took her spot. So we asked Olivia if she wanted to play and she was so excited to be part of the team. She is the youngest on the team and it's a little over her head but she has been tough. She runs, chasing the ball most of the time and doesn't mean to be in the middle of the mix. It's been really cute.
Grace continues to love the sport of soccer. She has told us that she does not wish to do cheerleading but to always do soccer. She is one determined girl on the field. And has started training with daddy's U9&U10 girls on Thursday nights. She lives for that night...not sure if it b/c she is with her daddy, with some older girls she adores or because she loves the sport. I think it is a little bit of it all. And Grace doesn't seem to mind having her sister on the team.

Day off School

We had a day off school so we talked daddy into taking the day off too. We traveled downtown to the Children's museum. The kids had a blast and I had a blast watching them.
