Grace's first day of PreK4

Today was Grace's first day of PreK 4. She is attending at Grayson UMC again and is going four days a week. She was super excited to start school and was happy to see several familiar faces in her class.

Grace was not to sure of her new teachers. It caught me a little off guard to see her like that, but I am sure it will all change by the end of the week.

Jump for Joy if you are ready for school

I guess there should be a picture of myself jumping as well. We are all SO ready for preschool to start on Monday. We went to visit teachers and the girls were excited. Olivia kept saying, "I go to school, you stay home". I hope she has the same attitude when I leave her next week.
I feel very blessed to have great teachers for both the girls. I can't wait to see how the girls do this year. It's Olivia's first year in preschool and I think she is past ready to go. Her class is overwhelmed by boys...there are just three girls. Grace will be stepping it up a little this year in her academics in the classroom. She will also be available to purchase hot lunches. All of it it preps for the big kindergarten year next year...scary.

This picture says it all...Olivia is always looking up to her sister.

Olivia at two and a half

Olivia is two and a half years old now. She is still mommy's girl. I probably hear a dozen times a day, "hold me mommy". We were almost completely potty trained until Harper came. She still will ask to go potty but it is not as often as before. And she stays dry during the night about 80% of the time. Olivia loves hanging out with Grace and copies almost everything she does. They have times where they fight and have typical sister moments but they also have learned to play really well together. It makes me laugh to hear them play house and Grace is the child and Olivia is the mommy. Olivia still loves to play with her babies. She feeds them, takes them for walks, puts diapers on them, sings to them, etc. She also loves books and puzzles. She goes to bed with at least one book in her bed every night. In her bed at night you will also find several babies, her giraffe lovie, and several blankets. Her bed is always FULL! Olivia has decided to give up her naps. Mommy also decided this was a good idea since the days she was napping we couldn't get her to bed till LATE! Now we put her and Grace to bed around 7:30 and she sleeps till 7 the next morning. We still have a few nights or her coming out and asking for water, to go potty or to be held but she is usually so tired she goes right to bed. She loves to play outside. Her favorite things to do is jump on the trampoline, play with chalk, run after balls, or play in water. She has loved swimming this summer! Olivia has a very sweet temperament. She does not like hurting peoples feelings or to see someone cry. If she ever sees me upset then she will come hug and kiss me. She hands out kisses to everyone in the house but does not like kissing daddy on the face. We think it is because of his facial hair. Olivia loves to sing and will put a show on for you in a second. She cracks me up and others that hang out with her. Almost every Sunday when I pick her up from church nursery they tell me how funny she is. She is such a talk now! She has a great memory and will tell you things that happened in the past. She has also learned to tell on her sister. Their are only a few words that I don't understand. Olivia knows her full name and her age. She loves telling you colors even though she doesn't always gets them correct. She starts preschool next week and I think she will LOVE it.

Three Weeks Old - Harper

We are three weeks old now! We went back to do a weight check yesterday and we have finally hit our birth weight! WooHoo!!! In one week she gained 14.5 ounces weighing in at 7 lbs 14.5 oz. We were able to achieve that by giving 2 oz of formula with every feeding. The only down fall is that sweet Harper discovered how much easier a bottle is to eat then the breast. So I was pumping and feeding to make sure she got enough at each feeding. But starting yesterday we are trying breastfeeding again. If it works awesome if not I am ok with that. I will pump until she is six weeks old and then go to formula.
She is starting to stay awake just a little bit after her feedings. When she is awake she is looking trying to focus on faces, look at shadows and lights in the house and movements on the TV.
She is a good sleeper. Just swaddle, lay down and she falls asleep on her own. She is in a pack in play in my room at night. During the day she sleeps anywhere and noises of her two older sisters does not awake her.
Love this bumble bee outfit!!!

CrAzY Week

Last week was a crazy week of trying to get on a schedule, healing, getting ready for school and feeding Harper. The girls are getting used to having Harper around. They now realize that when she cries or needs to eat everything else gets put on hold. I think we are all ready for preschool to start next week. We have bought all school supplies, picked out first day of school clothes and bought new backpacks...now come on Monday.
I went back to the doctor on Friday and everything looked good. Infection is healing, I was just told to continue to take it easy and finish all my antibiotics. Harper went with me again and did awesome just hanging out in the stroller and the big girls went to Chick-fil-a with Mimi and Pops.
This past weekend was a nice, easy going, fun weekend. Daddy woke up early with the girls on Saturday morning and took Olivia and Grace to Dunkin Donuts, to run errands and then they hung out outside while he laid sod. Mommy has a relaxing morning inside with just Harper. We then ran errands and went to our church "Block Party". It was fun hanging out with friends and showing off the baby.
Sunday was church and working in the yard day. The girls LOVE hanging out with their daddy no matter what it is. As he tried to water the lawn the girls had fun playing in the sprinkler.

Easy way for Chad to keep up with the dog and two kids...put them in the back of the truck.

Grace has been beside herself that she has been able to help feed Harper.

Harper two weeks old

Harper turned two weeks yesterday on August 16th (her actual due date). At two weeks old Harper is still my sweet content girl. She is still sleeping 90% of the day but when she is awake we are starting to see her eyes. I took her in the the doctor's office yesterday to get a weight check and she had only gained one ounce in a week. So I am now breastfeeding and supplementing with formula for a week. I had to do the same thing with both the other girls. Harper also had to go with me to a doctors appointment where we found out that my incision from the c-section is infected. So I am now on antibiotics. The first picture below is from Harper's long day with me running from doctor appointments to CVS, etc. She did awesome. She even laid in the stroller in the corner of my doctors office for an hour...happy as could be. My other two would of never of done that...I would of been swaying with them, feeding them, or pushing the stroller. I don't want to jinx myself but she has had a great night sleep the last three nights. Going to bed between 9-10, waking up at 3, then sleeping till 8. Got to love it. Her fussy time is in the evening. Fussy means she wants to be held and wants her paci.
