Olivia at Three

I can't believe this girl is three! It seems like she has matured overnight. I guess it helps having an awesome big sister. Olivia is a bright light in this world. Her personality is crazy, fun, soft hearted and compassionate. She makes us laugh all the times with her facial expressions and the words that come out of her mouth. She is defiantly our drama queen. She likes things her way and when that doesn't happen, well, everybody is going to know about it. She inside voice is a higher octave above everybody else. She loves to play outside and hates wearing shoes, even outside. She plays in dirt, water, in the woods, picking flowers, riding bikes and jumping on the trampoline. She loves her family and insist on knowing where everybody is at all times. She is the one that cried for daddy but when he comes around still wants to sit on mommy's lap. She is unsure of Chad's kisses because of his facial hair. Loves to ride in daddy's big truck with the windows down. She is a smart little girl reciting her personal information, colors, shapes and numbers. She wants to right her name but the only letter she has is "O". Olivia has become a good eater in the last few months. She requested pizza for her birthday and then ended up eating two plates of salad. She loves to get food out of the fridge on her own and grazes all day. Her favorite foods are pizza, all fruit, string cheese and yogurt and more yogurt. Olivia does well in school but ironically does not talk a lot but comes home telling me all about her day. She loves her sisters. She always wants to be with Grace and talks in a sweet high pitch voice with Harper. She is very much a cuddlier and still loves to sit on our laps. I took her for her three year check up and she did great. She had a finger prick and a shot was a brave strong girl not even crying even though she was pretty mad at the nurse. She weighed in at 32.6 lbs and was 38 inches tall. Putting her in the 75% percentile for both.
Olivia had a wonderful birthday. We celebrated on March 1st. I brought cupcakes up to the school. She was really sweet and wanted to hand out all the napkins and had the sweetest face when everybody sang to her. Then Maw Maw and Paw Paw came and got her for lunch. Paw Paw brought her flowers. She was so excited and embarrassed by them. And then she chose pizza for dinner. Great day!

Harper at 7 monts

An overdue post...Harper turned 7 months on March 2nd. She is still such a joy and easier then my other two were at this age. She is sitting on her own now with a tumble here and there. She is saying dada and baba ...we think she says dada appropriate. She is now taking two naps a day and sleeps 12 straight hours at night. She is eating solids three times during the day and milk four times. The only time I hear her cry is when the food stops coming and when she is overly tired. She will now sit and play on the floor or in her exersaucer for an hour at a time. Such a happy girl!

Valentine's day

Valentine's day was special for all of us this year. The two big girls had a father/daughter date night at Chick-fil-a the week before. Then the night of Valentine's day, Chad brought home a picnic dinner, flowers and goodies for all. It was a very exciting and special night.

Soccer

Grace played indoor soccer this winter. She loves soccer. I am not sure if it is because she has a soccer daddy or if it becoming her passion. She plays very well and is tough on the field full of boys.
