48 hours! Harper is doing awesome! She was an awesome sleeper last night. Slept from 8 till 1:30 (mommy having the wake her up to feed her) then slept again till 6:30 (having to be woken again). We don't hear much out of her or see her eyes. She seems to be happy in our arms on swaddled in her bed. Today is Chad's birthday! I felt bad having to celebrate his day in the hospital and having no present for him. But his parents, Mimi and Pops, came and brought us lunch. And Maw Maw and Paw Paw came up for dinner with the girls. It was a special day.
Grace had to get her hands on the baby as soon as she walked into the room.
She loves her little sister and takes her job of "big sister/second mom" very seriously!
Maw Maw and Paw Paw both got turns holding Harper tonight.
The girls brought daddy a birthday present.
Maw Maw and Paw Paw brought the birthday boy a present too. I am excited about one of his presents, the book, "bringing up girls".
