We made our annual beach trip to Hilton Head Island. We went the second week of June and it was prefect weather...no rain, high 80's and a nice breeze almost every day. It was Harper's first time at the beach and she did great! Below are a bunch of random pictures but it will help tell our vacation story...

Harper's first sighting of the beach
a little confused about the large amount of water

We rented these double bikes and the girls loved taking rides with daddy. We would drive around the neighborhood, on the beach and up to the ice cream shoppe.
Olivia was a little confused about how to ride it but had a great time anyways.
The Five cousins! Love it!!!
Harper loves her daddy!

My sweet Olivia. This girl lives in her own little world. It's a great world, one that mommy and daddy don't always understand. She is looking for shells in the picture below. She never found one because she became side tracked.

I love dressing my girls. Bathing suits rank up there top of the list.

Harper sad because Mama wouldn't let her eat fist full of sand.
The day I didn't bring my camera down the two big girls enjoyed Chad burying them in sand. So the next day I bring the camera and this is as far as we got. Olivia was too close to Grace, Grace got sand in her face, the sand was too hot...I am sure their are a dozen complaints I did not list.
Tyler making us cupcakes with some fun new sand toys.
Harper and Maw Maw
Paw Paw sitting in the shade with playing with sand toys
Olivia writing her name in the sand
Such a good daddy
Grace using her "mommy" hip
Grace and Hudson...the two oldest
Chad and I had a fun date night with Harper while Maw Maw and Paw Paw kept the other kids.
We loved having the wagon this year. We pulled kids down to the beach, Harper was able to play in the shade without eating sand, and walk around shops to ice cream shoppe, etc.
Olivia calls this bathing suit her booby suit because of the two triangles at top.
The girl is a nut.

Not the best picture but all four of us girls had our toe nails polished!
Harper played in the little water spots all be herself.
She crawled in as far as I let her.
Grace loved the ocean. She was a star on the boogie board.

Annual trip to Salty Dogs
The best part of renting a house is the private pool. Loved being about to sit and watch the girls play while the baby was sleeping or dinner was being cooked or even having night swims.
Grace also discovered that she could take her swimmies off and swim by herself. We were so proud of her!

Grace is a true leader and caretaker. Here she is "reading" the boys a book. They sat like this for a good twenty minutes.
Every year we get some sort of matching outfits for the kids. I loved the colors this year.

Great group of kiddo!
Maw Maw is the best castle builder with the kids

Eating more sand. YUMMY
Another reason to love the wagon...nap time.
My favorite picture from the trip...too bad not all the kids were in the picture.
