On the Wednesday before Easter the Maddox family helped stuff over 33,000 eggs for our church's annual Easter egg hunt. I was proud of both girls for enduring three hours of eggs. But I was especial proud of Grace who helped stuff and tape eggs. She also won a door prize. When they called her name everyone in the room (around 200 people) cheered. Instead of Grace being excited she cried, I guess the crowd scared her. Once she got her play-du she was happy.
On Saturday was the GREAT egg hunt. Our family helped spread the 33000 eggs all over Blue Springs soccer fields.
The girls both enjoyed the beautiful day of game, inflatables, etc.
Daddy was not happy about this picture. lol

Grace did not enjoy her hunt. When I asked her why she was crying she told me that she was too tired to do anything else.

I am not sure Ty and Olivia liked the bunny
After a long day!
The Easter bunny came and visited.
Chad nor I talked about the Easter bunny. We didn't talk about him coming, placing out baskets, etc. I was actually hoping to give the girls their baskets after church on Sunday. BUT Grace woke up asking if the Easter bunny came. Just shows how much of a our society influences my children.
Easter day was quiet. Spent the morning at church. Chad spent the afternoon in the yard while the girls napped. And then we grilled out with some new friends.
