Christmas Day 2011

On Christmas Day we drove up to Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house to celebrate with cousins. Such a sweet time with all.

We had a wonderful Christmas. The girls were full of excitement the whole month. They loved looking for the Elf every morning, making crafts, Christmas goodies, wrapping gifts, etc. Harper was a joy to watch, she didn't quit get what was going on but was excited about everything. On Christmas Eve we went shopping, worked in the church nursery, attended a Christmas service with Olivia and Grace. (Grace insisted on sitting on the first row at church. I was really nervous being it was Olivia's first time being a "big girl" in church. But after seeing they had a snow machine and the girls had snow falling on them...b/c they were on the first row brought much joy to all of us!) After church we went to Waffle House, yep, you heard me correct, Waffle House for dinner. I figured dinner is about who you are with and not what you eat. Although everyone did enjoy the food. We then made cookies for Santa.

Christmas morning was awesome. The girls got three gifts from Santa each. Grace - a vanity, a video camera and barbie head . Olivia - Tangled castle, a robotic penguin and a penguin shooting balls out his mouth. Harper - a dancing Mickey, a Car Ramp and Little People Zoo.

December 2011 Excitement

December is one of my favorite months. I don't think many days go by that we are not doing something to get ready to celebrate Christmas. Below are some pictures that sum up this month.

Christmas with Meme and Pops

Celebrating Christmas with Meme and Pops was a BLAST this year. They treated us to a day at Stone Mountain Park. We did snow mountain and other activities around the park. Ending with dinner and present opening. We ALL had a great time! Fun Memories!!!

Grace lost her first tooth

In one week we had the tooth fairy visit and Santa.

Grace had two very loose teeth. She had been wiggling them for DAYS. And then finally she pulled one out. Tooth fairy pillow was ready and the fairy left a hefty $2!

Grace, please stop growing up!

Christmas with Friends

Love spending time with friends during the holidays. It is absolutely one of my favorite things to do. We have some of the best friends around with some amazing kids.

Jennifer and I have been friends for a few years. This was our second year decorating cookies together. I just LOVE her and her family.

We planned a gingerbread party making with our small group. It was so fun to have all the children playing with each other and the mom's making gingerbread mangers.
