Career Day

Grace had Career Day at school. She told me she wanted to be a Doctor like Dr. H, her pediatrician. So I did the best I could dressing her up. She was so cute.

Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was awesome with the kids. Grace's class had a Muffin's with Mom which was great. The kids served the mommies, sang us some sweet songs and gave us a gift. Grace was just precious and shy. The shyness surprised me. She know what the day consist of, she knew all the people and all the songs...but she was still apprehensive and attached to me. The most exciting part of the day was that I took Grace with me and we registered her for kindergarden and enjoyed lunch before picking everyone else up at school. Love spending special time with each of my kids.
On Mother's Day the kids surprised me with a drink bucket, drinks and a cookie cake. YUM!

A little Harper Cuteness

One of my favorite looks that Harper is giving right now.
(And on a side note, Harper sat in the wagon for over an hour as we taught Grace how to ride a bike. She was as happy as can be. Love her personality.)

This video is of Harper doing her army crawl. You will notice at the end where she ends up...always digging.

Grace rides with two wheels

Grace finally decided she wanted to try riding her bike with no training wheels. She had watched her friend Miller ride and he had inspired her. Grace picked it up quickly, within twenty minutes she was riding on her own. She even had one spill but got a band-aid and tried again. I didn't realize how proud my heart would be for her on the day she learned to ride her bike. Her determination and pride was just precious.

She told me the reason she was able to ride her bike was because of her big muscles.

Harper's New Musical Talent

Ice Cream Field Trip

Olivia's class took a trip to Bruster's on May 3rd. The teacher loaded all the kids up on six seater strollers and pushed them down the street. Olivia was so excited about going and having me with them. Before they left all the kids picked chocolate, vanilla or strawberry flavored. When they asked Olivia what flavor she wanted she told them cotton candy explosion. I guess we go get ice cream a little too often that Olivia knows all the different flavors.

Olivia's 1st Soccer Season

Olivia had her first soccer season. She was in a eight week class at Creekside called Kickeroos. It is a parent/child class. She was super excited about going each night with all her gear on with ball and water bottle in soccer bag. And she loved the first 15 minutes of passing back in forth was mommy or daddy. BUT after about twenty minutes she needed a little motivation...she bribed with a dollar bill. She also did not care for the competition against her peer.
So proud of her medal
Listening to the instructions with daddy

Park

Love getting the kids out of the house. Our church has a playground and it was so easy to take the whole crew and watch them inside the fence.

Harper at 9 months

The nine month mark always seems so big to me. In the last month this girl has hit SO many milestones. Here are a few
*Army crawling all over the place (loves to beeline to the girls room or rummage under the sofa
* Can crawl to sit
* Has pulled up to a standing position four times
* Eats table food three times a day...and will eat until you pull her away from the table
* Is saying several words...mama, dada, dat (that), nini (night night), baby, ahoy
* Sleeps 11-12 hours a night and two naps a day (just have to lay her down)
* Waves, claps hands and blow kisses
* Is on four 6oz bottle of formula a day
* Weighed 19lbs 15oz with height at 28 inches long at nine month appointment. This put her in the 70th percentile for both height and weight. And is the same height at this age as both Grace and Olivia but a pound heavier then both.
* Her blood work showed she had a slight case of anemia. We are starting vitamins and getting blood work again in three weeks.
