Graystone Church

There are many things I love about our church, Graystone. One of the reasons is the children's ministry. The children and the heart of this church. And on one Sunday in December the whole service is given to the children. The 3 year olds - kindergarteners start the service with a few songs and five kindergarteners are asked to have a speaking part. I was completely honored that Grace was one asked. And I was so very proud when her pulled it off. She was the first to speak...she welcomed everyone and told them about the special story of Jesus that we were going to share. LOVED this moment!"Good Morning everybody. We have a special story for you. The bible says in Luke Chapter 2 that Mary gave birth to her first born son Jesus."

Olivia is on the second row beside her friend Danica.
Love their matching outfits this year.

Classroom parties

One of the luxuries of staying at home (and keeping kids) is being able to go into the classroom on party days. But it does make is pretty hard when they are at the same time at two different schools. But I was able to send time with both on the last day before winter break.
It was so cute watching Grace with her classmates and teachers. They had a pizza party with centers. Olivia had a McDonalds party and book exchange. I did leave Olivia's party a little early but she was taken care of by Mr. Tinna...she even went home with her that day for a playdate.

The Vaccum

Harper makes me laugh all the time. She currently (at 16 months) loves the vacuum. As soon as she hears it turn on she runs to find me. And she doesn't just follow me around but attaches herself to the thing. She grins and giggles and it takes me three times as long to clean but I wouldn't change it for the world. When she finally get tired of holding on she pushes pop pop behind me. Love this stage

Olivia's Christmas program

Olivia's preschool had a Christmas program on a week night so parents and grandparents could come watch all the cuteness of this age. Olivia was super excited about this night. I had asked for days for her to sing me some of the songs she had been learning...but she wouldn't share one note.
We got there early and got second row seats. And then Olivia came down the aisle with her face covered. I became nervous. She got on stage and her face was still covered. And then she shinned. She sang her little heart out and it was SO cute.

Grace's first USC game

Since USC runs in the family we are all fans! Paw Paw invited Chad and I along with Grace to attend a game with him. We made it a night trip and Maw Maw kept the two little girls. I was SO fun to watch the game through Grace's eyes. She really got into the game...yelling chants, dancing and ask all sorts of football questions.
