Christmas Day

We spent the afternoon and evening at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house with Aunt KK and family. The girls were very well behaved (which doesn't happen often), Carrie even mentioned how angelic Grace was acting. They loved opening presents, hanging out with cousins and eating good food.

Santa left us some presents

Santa was good for us once again this year. The girls were super excited when they woke up. Grace came to our bedroom and told us that she saw presents in the den. Olivia kept telling us Santa didn't come yet...I think she may of thought she was going to physically going to see him.

The first think they both went for is their stockings. Excited about every little thing down to socks. Harper sat in her bumbo enjoying all the commotion.

Harper got a toy, backpack and sippy cups from Santa.

Olivia got a remote control bus, Alphie (a robot) and singing animals.

Grace got a Nintendo DSi, a clock, and a baby doll.

The girls picked out two things for daddy. The first was a superman tshirt. Grace told Chad on Christmas morning that he needed that shirt because he was their superhero. The second was a toolbox. Grace was set on getting him the toolbox. When I asked what needed to be put in there she told me candy. So we filled it up with some yummy treats.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve day and evening were wonderful and slow pace. We started the day going to see a 10:30 movie, Tangled. All three of the girls were extremely good. We then walked about the mall, had lunch and rode the merry go round.

We came home and dressed in our Christmas best for our church service at 3:30. Grace sat with us during big church. Two moments cracked me up...one was when the pastor told the kids that he heard it might snow on Christmas day. Being a true southern girl, she looked at me and said, "Yeah, but will it stick?". The second was Grace begged to sit on the front row, we compromised and sat on the second. In the middle of the sermon, when it is extremely quiet, Grace let out a very loud poot. Being who I am, I had the uncontrollable giggle. Next time we may need to sit on the back row.

After church we came home and ate a yummy roast that had been cooking all day in the crackpot. Christmas pjs were then put on and then we rode around to look at Christmas lights. When we got home we put out cookies and milk, wrote letters to santa and hit the pillow. The girls were tired and fall asleep quickly. Santa then took care of business and was in bed by 9:30.

The first line is suppose to say, Thank you for the presents.

Cookie Party

The Maddox girls had the joy of decorating cookies with the Rubio boys. We just love this family and are trying to go ahead and make sure arranged marriages.

The girls had SO much fun at their house and the boys were so good with them, helping as much as they can. Great day, hope this will become a new tradition.

Christmas Lights

This year we went right around the corner to see Christmas lights at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. All three of the girls and both adults seemed to enjoy it.

Church Program

Grace participated at her first church program at our new church. She had practiced with a CD for several weeks and was very excited. The preschool kids did an AWESOME job and I was very impressed watching them on stage. My favorite part was listening to Grace sing with all her heart, "Oh, How I Love Jesus."
