Family Strawberry Patch Day

I had so much fun with Grace at the strawberry patch that I thought it would be fun taking the whole family. I love weekends when the whole family is together! So on a Saturday afternoon in May we loaded up and heading a few miles down the road to the strawberry patch. The first few picks was fun for the girls but the fun wore off for Olivia (and maybe even for Chad). Grace loved finding the prefect strawberries and even with the heat she kept up until the bucket was full. I had Harper strapped on me and she was being a great baby but it made is hard for me to pick the strawberries...every time I would bend down to find one she would shift. So I give props to Chad who did a great job finding the prefect bucket of strawberries.

Spring Soccer 2001

Grace had a great outdoor season in soccer. She does really well with her daddy being the coach and playing against mostly all boys! She loves going after the ball and it didn't matter who got in the way. Never heard one complaint about getting ready for soccer. In fact she asked almost every day..."Is today is soccer day?". She scored in every game and it made a mama proud to overhear other parents say, "that little girl is their ringer". It will be interesting to see if Grace keeps up with soccer in years to come.

The Last Gymnastics Fun Day

Grace's trip to the Strawberry Fields

I was able to get a babysitter for all the little kids and go on a field trip with just Grace. It was nice to be able to spend the day with Grace (and my other five year old daughter Erin). Grace's class was so well behaved. They listened to the presentation on how strawberries are grown, went on a hay ride, picked a pint of strawberries and then had a picnic. Great Day!!!

Harper at 10 Months

Harper turned 10 months on the 2nd and her personality is really starting to come out! She is such a mess. She's finally crawling on all fours. She started during memorial day weekend...although I do miss her army crawl a little bit. She is now all over the house and is just now figuring out that she can pull up on items. She finds anything and everything on the floor and is so proud of herself. If you try to take it away she turns her whole body and yells at you. Her temper is starting to be shown. She very rarely cries. If she does I know she is tired, hungry or her sisters are bugging her. Harper LOVES table foods and eats everything in sight other then the baby finger foods I give her...puffs, cherrios, etc. She is not to fond of the bottle. We have to push her to take four bottles a day. She drinks about three ounces really fast and then throws the bottle aside. Harper gives the best open mouth kisses and waves at everybody with a big country HI. Her vocabulary continues to expand. She loves our dog and calls every animal she sees "doggie". She now will give open mouth kisses on her own (without asking for them) and makes the sweetest muah sound. She shakes her head no and grins about it. And Harper has started climbing up steps, on the fireplace, etc.

Career Day

Grace had Career Day at school. She told me she wanted to be a Doctor like Dr. H, her pediatrician. So I did the best I could dressing her up. She was so cute.

Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was awesome with the kids. Grace's class had a Muffin's with Mom which was great. The kids served the mommies, sang us some sweet songs and gave us a gift. Grace was just precious and shy. The shyness surprised me. She know what the day consist of, she knew all the people and all the songs...but she was still apprehensive and attached to me. The most exciting part of the day was that I took Grace with me and we registered her for kindergarden and enjoyed lunch before picking everyone else up at school. Love spending special time with each of my kids.

On Mother's Day the kids surprised me with a drink bucket, drinks and a cookie cake. YUM!
